What Time of Year is Best to Come?
The Ebro fishes well all year round. However, the catfish are a lot more active throughout the Summer months, april / november through the winter months December to April, the Ebro becomes a carpers paradise, with the catfish hunkering down, the carp have free run of the river searching for anglers baits multiple captures are common with the carp reaching upto 70lbs.
The catfish can still be caught throughout the winter months and normally if they do they are very large specimen’s, just not as frequent as the summer months, catfish have been caught in excess of 200lbs with many going over the magical ton plus mark.
The Ebro has produced some true river monsters over the years with catfish well over the 200lb mark and carp to 70lbs.
